The photography of Nathan Tsukroff and Matt Perry is on display at the Gray Public Library. The photographs all appeared in The Gray News, except for Perry's image of the black bear gnawing on a bird feeder in his back yard, which appeared in The Gray-New Gloucester Independent, successor to The Gray News. Former News editor, Ray Clark, and his wife, Bobbie, selected the photos.

Are they their best? Clark said, "I thought all of their work was the best. There were certainly bigger newspapers than The Gray News, and probably better ones, but I don't think any paper had better photography, thanks to those two."

Both Perry and Tsukroff live in Gray. Perry is a cameraman for WGME 13, and Tsukroff is a professional photographer with studios on Main Street.

Photographs range from a Perry portrait of the Maine Wildlife Park's mountain lion to Tsukroff's lovely image of a little boy sleeping with his stuffed horse. The photographs will be on view through November during regular library hours and prints are available for purchase.
