On Wednesday, August 29, members of the Gray New Gloucester Business Association and Town Council gathered for ribbon cutting ceremonies for two new businesses in Gray. Located next door to each other on Route 26, south of the Gray town center, are The Fisherman's Net and Ladybug Antiques and Collectibles. The Fisherman's Net provides fresh seafood and takeout. Fisherman's Net has been operating for about a year under the ownership of Stephanie Brakas and Pam Lindner. Ladybug is an eclectic shop of antiques and collectibles. The shop has been open for approximately eight months. It is owned by Joseph Souza and Aline Schultz. Andy Upham and Deborah S. Mancini of the Gray Town Council were in attendance as well as the following members of the Gray New Gloucester Business Association: Chris Dombrowski (Gray Chiropractic Center), Bryna Finucane (Key Bank), Michele Bedigan (Androscoggin Bank), Phil DiRusso (Pineland YMCA), and Mark Bacon (Mark Bacon CPA). |
