Jim Gallant is a local favorite with a huge following of fans and friends. As a member of the Seacoast Guitar Society Jim was a featured artist in their first fingerstyle compilation CD. In a review of his CD "River Watch," "Good Times" music magazine's Ron Hart writes "Gallant ranks among some of the finest tunesmiths in the Northeast." Ron Silverstein of "20th Century Guitar Magazine" writes "A gifted acoustic guitarist, Jim Gallant's fretboard is both rhythmic and tuneful." In the fall of 2003 "New England Trekker" did an in depth article of Jim and his music and called him a "world class player." His latest CD "Living the Dream" on the Outer Green Label, is a collection of funny and heartfelt stories featuring some of the areas finest musicians. Together with his warm rich vocals and mastery of fingerstyle guitar Jim's performances are always an exciting event.
