NORTH YARMOUTH - Cumberland native Greg Sweetser, Executive Director of the Ski Maine Association, will be sharing stories about Maine's skiing history from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 11. His presentation will take place at Skyline Farm's Visitor Center, 95 The Lane in North Yarmouth (turn at the "Ames Farm Center" sign).

Past ski areas in the state will be discussed, such as Jockey Cap in Fryeburg, site of Maine's first rope tow; and, closer to home, Hurricane Ski Slopes in Falmouth, which opened in 1947.
