GNG - Attention all seniors: Congratulations to our seniors who have been accepted into college! Please be sure to stop at the Guidance Office to let us know. We have applications for state and national scholarships worth thousands of dollars...deadlines vary, so don't delay! Within the next couple of weeks, we will mail you a packet outlining the local scholarship process. These scholarships will be given to GNGHS seniors and be awarded on Senior Class Night on May 24. Still working on your plans after high school? If so, please see Mrs. Chaplin to schedule an appointment with your Guidance Counselor. Central Maine Community College (CMCC) is coming to visit on Tuesday, March 13 at 9 a.m. If you apply on the day of the visit, you may be eligible for "on the spot acceptance!" Attention all students and parents - the following assessments will be administered during the months of April and May: •All Grade 9 and 10 students - NWEA (Measures of Academic Progress) Reading and Math Tuesday, April 3- Tuesday, April 10. •All Grade 11 students - Math Augmentation Test, Tuesday, April 24. •All Grade 11 students - SAT, Saturday, May 5. •Advanced Placement exams will be administered Tuesday, May 8 through Monday, May 14 to any student who elects to register for an exam.
