Dec 15, 2006 "Building a Better Community Through Communication" Vol 35, Number 47

Ray Clark

A suspect in the recent bomb threat at Gray-New Gloucester High School has been picked up for questioning, according to Superintendent Vicky Burns.

Superintendent Burns would not identify the suspect.

School policy provides for immediate expulsion of a student who makes such a threat, although Burns would not say whether the suspect is a student. In addition, the perpetrator faces criminal proceedings and could end up with a criminal record.

In an unrelated incident at the school, according to State Police reports, a student was arrested for threatening a teacher.
