The Gray Town Council will go into Executive Session next Tuesday prior to its regular meeting to try to hammer out some sort of deal on Hancock Lumber land on Libby Hill. The land in question would add substantially to the Libby Hill Forest Trails. At one point, officials thought the land was going to be donated, but either there was a misunderstanding or Hancock Lumber changed its mind. The Council has been discussing the issue for a year or more without coming to any conclusion. The Council will also revisit the Wellhead Protection District Zoning Ordinance after tabling it two weeks ago. During discussion, the Council discovered that more than one version of the proposed rewrite of the ordinance existed. The Ordinance Review Committee got it back for reconciliation, and on Tuesday the Council will have a first reading. Eventually there will be a public hearing on the issue. Otherwise, it appears to be a relatively straightforward agenda. | [an error occurred while processing this directive]
