Mildred Fund kicks off

Staff

Once again this year, The Gray Independent News offers you a chance to get your name on the front page.

On December 22, we'll publish our Holiday Card to the Town. To put your name on it, we ask for a contribution to the Mildred Fund. That's what we call our art scholarship, awarded to a graduating Gray-New Gloucester High School student who plans a career in art. The scholarship is named for Mildred Pollard, who was for so many years the heart and soul of The Gray News.

To be sure your name is included, please let us know by December 13. A form is provided on Page 2 of this issue for your convenience.

Thanks-and a merry Christmas to you and yours!
