Here are answers to the most frequently asked: Q. Do you have to be a Native American, or be of Native American descent, to join? A. No. Q. How is the Order of Red Men associated with the Native Americans? A. Only through our customs, terminology and ritualism, which are patterned after the early Native Americans. Q. What are the primary purposes and beliefs of the Order? A. The precepts of the Order are Freedom, Friendship and Charity. Q. What do you do at meetings? A. Our meetings are just like any other organization's, aside from our ritualistic openings and closings. Regular business is conducted, and projects may be planned or discussed. Q. Is it expensive to join? A. No. Q. Will I be required to wear Native American dress to meetings? A. No, regalia is worn during special ceremonies. Q.
